About Us

Better Planning = A More Affordable Season

As parents who coached our own children, we lived and breathed the roller coaster ride that comes with youth sports: the thrill of winning a big game, the excitement of watching young athletes develop, and the lifetime friendships and special memories that come with being part of a team.

But we also experienced the frustrations.

We saw teams traveling hours to play opponents a few towns away. We watched tournament entry and spectator fees continue to rise, increasing the cost of participation for families. And we recognized that finding affordable, competitive playing opportunities shouldn't be so difficult. We put our heads together, and KeoApp was born.

KeoApp (keoapp.com) is a free online platform — "The Coaches Network" — that helps youth sports coaches plan their season. KeoApp is a multi-sided marketplace connecting youth sports and school coaches with tournament organizers on one network, so coaches can find opponents, tournaments, invitationals, leagues, and camps without website hopping, email threads, or social media DMs. Sports team coaches can identify and evaluate different combinations of tournaments, invitationals, and scrimmages to help them play more and spend less.

What is a KeoApp Invitational? +

A KeoApp Invitational is a regulation game or set of games with predefined dates and times, hosted by an organization — typically an independent school — that invites youth sports teams to compete. Unlike the traditional tournament format, coaches respond to invitations through KeoApp and are notified of their acceptance. The cost of a KeoApp Invitational can range from free to a nominal fee to help offset referee, administration, and facility costs incurred by the organizer.

How does KeoApp work? +

Coaches complete a simple registration and claim or set up their team. Coaches can browse the Events Directory to identify tournaments and invitationals, and the Team Directory to find potential opponents to reach out to for scrimmage requests. Coaches can send public or private scrimmage invites, message the other coach directly in the app to work out logistics, and confirm the game. Additionally, teams can post their open dates, and KeoApp's matching tool identifies comparable teams looking to play based on age group, skill level, and distance.

How do I sign up for KeoApp? +

From keoapp.com, click "Coaches Get Started" to go to the registration page. You'll enter your first and last name, email address, and registration type (Team, Organization, High School – Public, or High School – Private), then your team's or organization's details (name, zip code, age group, gender focus, and sport), and finally a reference — another team in your region that can vouch for you, including that team's name, coach, and email. KeoApp then verifies the information and sends a formal invite to your email within 24 hours.

Is there a charge for coaches and parents to use KeoApp? +

KeoApp is free for both coaches and parents to use, with no listing fees.

Does KeoApp work with TeamSnap or TeamLink? +

Yes, KeoApp's Event Cart can be imported into TeamSnap and TeamLink to build a schedule.
